I'm sharing a process that helped me and my co-founder reach over 10k per month in 2019 at a service company.

Do You Know the Bullseye Framework?

Gabriel Weinberg and Justin Mares listed 19 marketing channels in their framework. The Bullseye Framework is visualized as a bullseye with three concentric circles:

  • Outer Circle (Brainstorming): All possible marketing channels.
  • Middle Circle (Testing): Channels with potential that are worth experimenting with.
  • Inner Circle (Focusing): The most promising channels where you'll focus your resources.

How You Can Apply This

  1. Brainstorm all potential channels.
  2. Prioritize channels based on potential impact.
  3. Test top channels with small experiments.
  4. Focus on the most promising ones.

The 19 Traction Channels

  • Viral Marketing
  • Public Relations (PR)
  • Unconventional PR
  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Social and Display Ads
  • Offline Ads
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Content Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Engineering as Marketing
  • Target Market Blogs
  • Business Development (BD)
  • Sales
